Returning home in the Crane truck along the Strzelecki track when a piece of metal pipe flipped up from the dirt road hitting and puncturing the trucks air tank.
Stopped vehicle damage assessed and temporary roadside repairs completed. Checked damage impacts to vehicle to ensure drivability and continued operational safety.
Vehicle was accessed safe to proceed with travel back to Adelaide.
No injury to personnel.
Notes
Accidental contact made with a discarded piece of piping whilst travelling.
Photo's of damage/repairs held in Job packet.
Investigation pending any additional advice from Epic Energy.
Unavoidable incident with no injury impacts.
If no further advice is received incident can be closed.
